About Ms. Lee

I am Ms. Lee, and I am so excited to be here!

I LOVE teaching and I LOVE Sara Harp Minter Elementary School. In fact, I myself was a third grader here! I started attending SHMES in the third grade the first year it was open. Now, I have graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of West Georgia's Honors College with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and an additional B.S. in Anthropology. Teaching has always been my passion, and I have over 8 years of experience working with children and in Georgia classrooms.

When I am not busy teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, swimming, and scuba diving. My favorite thing to do is travel. I also like to spend my free time with my family, my boyfriend Davis, friends, and my pets. I have two rescue pets: one dog named Allie, and a cat named Pippa (who I scooped up off of the highway!) Some of my favorite things include books, shopping at Target, plants, and getting my nails done.
